Keyboard shortcuts
Everything you can do without reaching for the mouse.
Anywhere in the app
- N
- Open Log a film.
- ⌘+K or Ctrl+K
- Jump to search. On the dashboard it focuses the command bar instead.
- Esc
- Close whatever’s open — a menu, a dropdown, or the log sheet.
- Tab
- On page load, reveals the Skip to content link.
Search & pickers
The top-bar search, the command bar, and the type-to-search cinema pickers all behave the same way.
- ↑ ↓
- Move through the suggestions.
- Enter
- Open or select the highlighted result.
- Esc
- Close the list and keep what you had.
Diary bulk edit
Turn it on with the Bulk edit button on your diary.
- ↑ ↓
- Move to the same field in the row above or below — like a spreadsheet column.
- Tab / Shift+Tab
- Move to the next / previous field along the row.
- Esc
- Discard unsaved changes and leave bulk edit.
Tags
- Enter or ,
- Add the tag you’ve typed.
- Esc
- Close the tag suggestions.
